Just in time for Mother's Day, a really lovely idea from Lynn Henriksen -- an invitation to write and share a story, just one story, that best captures what your mother means to you. Visit the Tell Tale Souls website, and enter the story of your mom, or of any woman who had a significant impact on you. The prompt is simple:
If you could tell just one small story that would reveal the essence of your mother's character and keep her spirit alive, what would it be?
The guidelines for sharing are simple, too:
- . Original, non-fiction (and not previously published)
· Use plain 12-point font
· Story length from 300 to 1500 words
· Include a brief Author Bio of 25-50 words about you – very important that you add your e-mail address and phone number here again so that we can easily communicate with you
· Optional: Include a picture pertaining to your story in pdf format only
· Send each story only one time
What mom wouldn't prefer a story to a box of chocolates??
